Suitably qualified students can now apply for the International Scholarship in Conservation Biology at the University of Queensland, as the university has started accepting applications.
This scholarship is open to all eligible students and has been generously funded.
The Scholarship in Conservation Biology
For the academic year 2023, The University of Queensland is providing an International Scholarship in Conservation Biology. This scholarship is available for students pursuing a Master’s degree in Agriculture & Animal Sciences, Environment, Science & Mathematics.
The School of Biology at the University has an excellent reputation for its exceptional research and teaching of various fundamental subjects in biology.
Situated in a location with diverse terrestrial and marine subtropical habitats, the university provides an excellent opportunity for students to explore and uncover the distinctive biodiversity of the area.
Course Level: Postgraduate Coursework.
Study Course: Conservation Biology.
Scholarship Award: up to $10,000 AUD.
Nationality: International student.
Number of Scholarships: Scholarships of various types are available.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria for Scholarship
You’re eligible if you:
- You must be an international student to be eligible for this scholarship.
- The eligible applicants will be evaluated based on their academic performance and any other relevant evidence that the Head of School deems necessary, and ranked in order of merit.
- To be considered for the scholarship, the student must have received an unconditional offer of admission into the program and accepted it.
- Additionally, students who have attained an overall GPA of more than 5 in their undergraduate program will be considered for the scholarship. Those with a GPA lower than 5 are ineligible for consideration in the scholarship round.
